Facts about sleep (recharging)


Before hitting the bed tonight there are things that you have to know about sleep.
1.       Hormones that can help you sleep
è Kids are given milk before sleeping because the tryptophan chemical which is present in the milk will stimulate the brain to relax all the voluntary muscles. This is one reason that we may feel the heaviness of our body as well as the sleepy eyes. On the other hand parents should be reminded that they must give milk an hour before their kids will be lying on their bed because their stomach will be busy digesting this which makes the body alive.
2.       Position during asleep
è The position of a person should when asleep should be changing in different positions so that certain parts of the body will not be cramping (tingling sensation). If you are meticulous about your skin you have to place yourself on a supine (lying on your back) position so that your face will not be crashed by the pillow. If you are doing prone position (lying on your tummy) there is a higher chance that you will develop fine lines, wrinkles and skin impurities. This is a result from rubbing the face on the pillows and not to mention all the oil that you can get from it that came from your hair.
3.       Enough hours of sleep
è Enough sleep means the body was able to recover from any damages from the previous days. Enough sleep means your body is rejuvenated, relaxed and energized to start the day right. The infant needs at least 16 hours of sleep while toddler needs to have 12 to 14 hours of sleep. The main reason behind this is because their body still growing and the body will only be working on the body’s growth and development during at sleep.

Moreover the most important thing that you need to know about sleep is your bed because you will not be able to get a good sleep if you are not comfortable on where you are lying down. Have a good night sleep everyone!!!
